Most of the local mechs dont even want to touch it, but I dont think you have to remove the entire dash to get to it. The only thing I can think of is that of the windshield wiper transmissions. And I didn't think you could replace the bushings in them. I thought you had to buy the whole transmission assembly, and they are installed from the outside of the vehicle. If that is what you're referring to change one wiper transmission takes about an hour and a half.
